Muffins Bed & Breakfast accommodation is a 17 century cottage, set in pretty gardens, on the edge of this quiet Lincolnshire hamlet of Cumberworth.
We have a comfortable double bedroom with T.V. and tea/coffee making facilities, radio alarm and hairdryer, overlooking the garden, with farmland beyond. The Cottage is heavily beamed with low ceilings.
Cumberworth is a quiet hamlet well situated for the sea, 5 miles away, and for the Lincolnshire Wolds, only 3 miles away. The Wolds are chalk hills which run from Caistor in the north, and 30 miles south towards Skegness. It is a very popular area for walkers.
The beautiful city of Lincoln is approximately 1 hour's drive. The lovely cathedral and its quarter together with the castle provide much interest at the top of the hill. In this area too, there are many small shops and boutiques. At the bottom of the very steep hill, is the main shopping area, which then leads to the River Withern which runs through the city. There are river trips available and many different and good places to eat.
The east coast has many resorts which provides fun for all the family. The lights are turned on in Mablethorpe and Skegness in the summer, which provide a fairyland atmosphere. The fens to the south have their own beauty. Lincolnshire is often called the county with the big sky, because apart from the Wolds, it is quite flat and you see so far. It is a county especially loved by walkers and cyclists.

Alford which is our nearest town has a market twice a week, a craft market during the weekends during the summer. It has its own windmill which is open to the public.
There are of course, many pubs in the area that are close to Muffins Bed & Breakfast, which
mostly do excellent food in a friendly atmosphere. Many cyclists as well as walkers
find the area most appealing.
